Government of lndia has decided to extend Visa on Arrival facility for Jordanian tourists

Government of India has decided to extend Visa on Arrival facility for Jordanian tourists visiting India effective today (i.e.27th November, 2014) based on reciprocity and recognizing our age old warm, cordial and friendly relations with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in all fields.

Under the scheme, Jordanian nationals visiting lndia for tourism purpose such as recreation, sightseeing, short duration medical treatment, casual business visit, casual visit to meet friends or relatives etc. may apply for and get their tourist visa-on-arrival [TVoA] online from his/her home country without visiting to the Embassy of lndia in Amman. The prospective Jordanian tourist will get electronic travel authorizatioh from the Indian authorities once their online application gets approved, entitling them to enter lndia anytime within 30 days of the approval. 0n arrival, the visitor has to present the printout of the authorization to the lmmigration authorities for other formalities. At this juncture, this facility may be availed no more than twice in a calendar year.
